Shah Mansur Bazaar is the central market of Dushanbe, which is also called Green Bazaar. This is true oriental market, bustling, crowded, interesting and diverse. Here you can buy anything ranging from food to national clothes. As in many Eastern markets on the Green Market you can find different types of breads, nuts, fruits, variety of spices: cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, cloves and more. Counters filled with long rolls of different fabrics for sewing national clothes, which are decorated with traditional Tajik traceries famous throughout Central Asia.
